This year we span the continents for "World Colors" that reflect the culture and beauty of our race. From the Center of Africa we bring the fascination drums & dances of Ngoma ZA Kongo, representing 6 different ethnic groups as old as humanity, as new as their show.
From USA, we bring the rare Afro-Puerto Rican rhythm & dance of Los Pleneros de la 21 (LP21). LP21 showcases the fun, interactive Bomba Musiq of the islands and bring it to new light in new recipes of funk n' fun.
From Phujab, India, comes the all-out joy of the India Gidha & Bhangra by Punjabi Academy. This ancient musiq & dance celebrates every emotion and litfs listeners from their seats to raise their hands in shared joy.
From the Middle East, Israel's Ziv Eitan is a "Sojourner of Rhythm", traveling our planet in search of beat and meaning. He brings his findings to our stage in the form of a modelic, percussive smorgasbord of food for the ears & hearts.
